Who can enter. Anyone 18 or older living within driving distance of Cookstown, Ontario, close enough that your dog can actually come to camp. Free to enter, no purchase necessary.
When. Entries open September 2, 2026 and close September 24, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Winners are drawn live on our Facebook page on Friday, September 25.
Tickets. One entry per person. Dogs already at camp start with 2 tickets; dogs new to camp start with 1, and also get a free meet & greet plus their first day or night of camp free. You earn 1 more ticket for every friend who enters through your link, up to 25. Duplicate or automated entries are removed.
The grand prize. Winner’s choice of 10 days of day camp or 7 nights of overnight boarding. Approximate retail value $500 before HST.
Top referrer. Whoever has referred the most entrants when entries close on September 24 wins 5 free days of day camp (approx. retail value $250). A tie goes to whoever got there first. This prize grows at the 1,500 and 3,000 unlocks below.
Community unlocks. As the contest reaches these entry counts, more prizes are added to the same draw. Each unlock is one extra prize for one more randomly drawn entrant, not one per entrant:
- 150 entries: the Spa Day: a full day of day camp plus the spa treatment (approx. $135; the spa portion varies by size and coat).
- 400 entries: a second grand prize, same terms as the first. Every entry’s odds double.
- 800 entries: a third grand prize, same terms.
- 1,500 entries: a fourth grand prize, and the top referrer’s prize doubles to 10 free days.
- 3,000 entries: a fifth grand prize, and the top referrer’s prize becomes a free month of day camp (20 days).
Counts are final when entries close. An unlock already reached is never taken back, and we may add more prizes along the way.
About the prizes. Camp time only: non‑transferable, no cash value, and no cash or substitute payout of any kind. Redeem within 6 months, subject to availability; not valid December 20 – January 1.
Claiming. Winners must correctly answer a skill‑testing question. Odds depend on the number of entries. A winner who doesn’t respond within 7 days forfeits and we draw a new name.
Safety comes first. Every winning dog does our standard free meet & greet before any camp days. Camp Cookstown has final say on safety: if a dog isn’t a safe fit for cage‑free group play we can’t host them, and that prize passes to a newly drawn entrant.
The leaderboard. If you refer at least one friend you may appear on the public leaderboard on this page, shown as your dog’s name, your first name and your last initial. Nothing else is ever shown. Email us and we’ll take you off it.
Your information. We use your name, email, postal code and dog’s name to run the contest and contact you if you win. The mobile number is optional and only used to reach you on draw night. We will only send you camp news and offers if you ticked that box when you entered, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link. We never sell your information.
